A new controversy has emerged in India-Bangladesh relations following the arrest of Saint Chinmoy Krishna Das. The head of the ISKCON temple "Pundarik Dham" in Bangladesh and the spokesperson for the Bangladesh Sanatan Jagaran Manch, Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested at Dhaka Airport on November 25 on charges of sedition. He is accused of being involved in an incident during a rally where protestors allegedly removed the Bangladeshi flag and hoisted a saffron flag. However, Chinmoy denies these allegations, claiming he was far from the incident site.
