EVM malfunction in Bankura assembly, TMC leader alleges, Mamata would have got votes from here
Voting for the second phase of elections in West Bengal is going on in full swing today. Today, votes are being cast for a total of 30 seats in the four districts of the state.
These include South Nandigram, 24 Parganas, East and West Medinipur, and Bankura Assembly seats. There have been reports of violence once again in many places.
On the other hand, the TMC has lodged complaints with the Election Commission regarding malfunctions in EVMs.
TMC candidate from Bankura Assembly seat, Sayantika Banerjee, has said that EVMs are defective at 2 polling booths in her constituency. She has visited these polling booths and reviewed EVM machines.
The TMC leader has alleged that this is being done intentionally so that TMC voters can return without casting their votes.
