Centre falling miserably in rolling out the COVID-19 vaccination for the Indians, P Chidambaram takes a dig

  • Coronavirus cases in India have once again become a matter of concern with the country recording over 36 K cases in 24 hours.
  • Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram today slammed the Centre for "failing miserably" in rolling out the COVID-19 vaccination for the countrymen.
  • P Chidambaram tweeted, "I feel proud to share that India has exported 59 million doses of COVID 19 vaccines."
  • "Also, I am disappointed that we have given only 3 crore doses to Indian citizens so far", he further added.
  • He also asked the government to allow vaccination on demand and get rid of bureaucratic hurdles, including pre-registration.
