13 lakh LIC employees, agents on strike today, oppose disinvestment, #IndiaRejectsLICIPO trends

After bank employees, now LIC employees are also on strike today. The employees of LIC (Life Insurance corporation) are opposing the disinvestment.
This strike is for a day and currently, around 1,14,000 employees work in it. Apart from this, there are more than 29 crore policyholders.
Over 1 lakh LIC employees and 12 Lakh LIC Agents are on strike today against the IPO of LIC, 74% FDI in Insurance, amendment to LIC Act, and privatization of PSUs/PSBs.
