West Bengal assembly elections: BJP workers stage protests against party's candidate list
The list of BJP candidates for the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections has been opposed by several party workers of the state.
The BJP workers today continued their protests outside the party's state election office in Kolkata over the selection of candidates.
Protesting since morning outside the Hastings office of the party, the BJP supporters got involved in scuffles among themselves, due to which the police had to intervene.
A BJP activist asked for the immediate removal of Arnab Roy's candidature from the Canning West seat.
He claimed that Arnab Roy has joined the party just five days back and has been given the nomination.
