West Bengal assembly elections: BJP workers stage protests against party's candidate list

  • The BJP workers today continued their protests outside the party's state election office in Kolkata over the selection of candidates.
  • Protesting since morning outside the Hastings office of the party, the BJP supporters got involved in scuffles among themselves, due to which the police had to intervene.
  • A BJP activist asked for the immediate removal of Arnab Roy's candidature from the Canning West seat.
  • He claimed that Arnab Roy has joined the party just five days back and has been given the nomination.
