Coronavirus: Delhi Government Ends Night Curfew, Open Market on Trial Basis

  • Kejriwal government of Delhi ended night curfew and allow more economic activities under Unlock 3.
  • They have also allowed markets to open on a trial basis for 7 days, with social distancing and all necessary COVID 19-appropriate measures in place.
  • Delhi govt said, "As part of the decisions taken today under Unlock 3 guidelines, the Delhi government has decided to end the night curfew that was earlier in operation from 10 pm to 5 am."
  • The government also allowed normal functioning of hotels and hospitality services, as already permitted under the Centre's unlock guidelines. 
  • MHA announced guidelines for Unlock 3.0 under which it has allowed gyms and yoga institutes may remain open.
