BJP Attacks Mamata Banerjee As TMC Goes Virtual Rally On July 21
TMC and the Congress observe July 21 as Martyrs’ Day to pay tributes to the ones who lost their lives in a protest march led by Mamata Banerjee to Writers’ Building on July 21 of 1993 against the then Communist govt.
While BJP National Secretary, Rahul Sinha said, “Covid-19 has saved TMC from humiliation this year. Last time we all saw how many people came for the meeting."
He said, "There was no public gathering at all. The reason is no one is excited anymorere, neither TMC workers, nor the public, who are very disappointed with the party.”
WB BJP president Dilip Ghosh said, "Mamata Banerjee does not have the right to observe Martyr's day on July 21 with the present condition in Bengal."
CPIM Rajya Sabha MP, Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya said, “People will slowly understand that everything that happened on July 21 was done to bring down the Left govt."
