Center Planning to Conduct Monsoon Session of Parliament

  • Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said that the talks are being held to conduct the monsoon session of Parliament.
  • According to sources, the monsoon session might begin from either the 2nd or the 3rd week of August. 
  • The biggest challenge is regarding the seating arrangements of the members while maintaining the social distancing measures.
  • The sources also say that talks are also being held to conduct the session virtually.
  • However, the final decision over the functioning of the Parliament will be taken by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.
