Defense Minister Rajnath Singh Reviews Current Situation In Ladakh

After a violent face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers, Defense minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the current operational situation in the Eastern Ladakh region.
CDS General Bipin Rawat, General MM Naravane, Admiral Karambir Singh, and Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria discussed the situation with Singh.
Foreign minister S Jaishankar was also present in the meeting.
According to the Indian army, there were casualties on both sides in the incident which took place in the Galwan valley on Monday night.
The army said that the incident took place at a time the “de-escalation process was underway”.
