MSMEs Flag Loopholes In the Skill Mapping Of Migrants

  • MSMEs in Uttar Pradesh have signaled several loopholes in the skill mapping database of migrants received from the government. 
  • The MSMEs complained about an “improper” data collection characterized by a mismatch of skills and workers, and incorrect contact information. 
  • They also said that many migrants were even not interested in working in industries.
  • Principal Secretary of MSME department, Navneet Sehgal said that a centralized list has been given to the MSMEs that will address their issues.
  • Let us tell you, the centralized list will help the units get in touch with labourers from across the state.
