UP Police Books Former IAS Officer For Raising Questions On Yogi Govt Rules

  • Uttar Pradesh police have booked a former IAS officer for raising questions on the state's testing protocol on Twitter.
  • IAS Officer, Surya Pratap Singh was spreading rumours about coronavirus pandemic.
  • He tweeted, “After CM Yogi’s Team-11 meeting, did the chief secretary threaten some DMs for conducting more corona tests?"
  • Pratap further added, "Did he say, ‘Why are you acting so fast? What reward are you after by calling for tests?’ adding, “No Test=No Corona".
  • He has been booked under the Disaster Management Act and the Epidemic Act.
