Different Perceptions Of the LAC Led To the Standoff: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that a significant number of Chinese troops were present along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.
He said that the Indian Army had matched the neighbour’s military moves. This happened a day after the two met to ease the tensions.
Rajnath Singh, “Achchhi khaasi sankhya mein Cheen ke log bhi aa gaye hain lekin Bharat ne bhi apni taraf se jo kuch bhi karna chahiye…kiya hai."
Singh’s comments came against the backdrop of silence on the issue from the external affairs ministry.
The defense minister said that the different perceptions of the LAC had led to the standoff.
