494 Domestic Flights Carrying 38,078 Passengers Operated On Thursday: Govt
- Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has confirmed that a total of 494 domestic flights, carrying 38,078 passengers, operated on Thursday.
- Thus, International passenger flights have yet not operated.
- According to an official, 1,65,605 people have travelled through 1,827 domestic flights that have traversed Indian airspace between Monday and Thursday.
- Puri tweeted, “Figures for domestic flights for 28th May 2020 till 2359 hours: Day 4, Departures 494, 38,078 passengers handled, Arrivals 493, 38,389 passengers handled.”
- Let us tell you, a total of 16 asymptomatic passengers on seven different flights, have tested positive for COVID-19.
