Maharashtra: CM Thackeray Blames Center For Increasing Number of Cases in the State

  • Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray blames center for increasing COVID-19 cases in the state.
  • Thackeray said, "The testing done at international airports in the initial days was faulty." 
  • He said that Maharashtra's first COVID-19 patient had a travel history of Dubai.
  • "The list submitted initially by the Centre about checking international travelers did not include the US and Dubai," the CM said.
  • He also said that if the migrants were allowed to return home before the lockdown they wouldn't have faced such a problem.
