Maharashtra Govt Extends Lockdown In Hotspot Areas Till 31st May

  • The Maharashtra Govt has extended the lockdown in hotspot areas until May 31st. 
  • The hotspot areas are Mumbai, Pune, Malegaon, Aurangabad, and Solapur. 
  • The lockdown extension was discussed in a meeting chaired by Maharashtra CM, Uddhav Thackeray. 
  • Let us tell you, Maharashtra has recorded more than 30,000 COVID-19 cases in total.
  • The state has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country.
