Coronavirus: Migrants in Quarantine Facility Protests, Demands Testing

  • In Muzaffarpur, around 160 migrants staying at a quarantine facility protested demanding COVID-19 testing and sanitization in the facility. 
  • This demand came after three people tested positive for COVID-19.
  • BDO of Mushari, Ravi Ranjan said, "COVID-19 positive patients have been isolated. Senior officers have been informed about their demands," he added.
  • He also said, "a total of 107 migrant workers have been put under quarantine. Respective officers have been made aware of the situation and a solution will be found soon."
  • Bihar has reported 591 COVID-19 positive cases.
