Coronavirus Outbreak: Facebook Post About Uttarakhand CM’s Death Fake, Case Filed
A case has been registered against those who have circulated a fake post about the death of Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat.
The state police headquarters has received four screenshots of the fake Facebook posts which claimed that CM Rawat is dead.
Ashok Kumar who is director-general of Uttarakhand said that we took the matter seriously and decided to take strict action immediately.
He also said that nobody will be spared and all will be arrested soon.
He further said that the state police have already warned people that stern action will be taken against those who are found to be spreading fake news.
