India Should Be Optimistic About the Economic Revival Post Lockdown: Abhijit Banerjee
- Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee said that India should consider a big motive and give cash in hand to create demand.
- He said that with this, the country will be able to prevent chains of bankruptcies to save the economy hit hard by the lockdown.
- Abhijit Banerjee asked govt to use temporary ration cards for three to six months for every person who needs food grains.
- “Be brave and take risks. When you are in dire straits, being brave is the only option,” he further added.
- He said that India should be optimistic about the overall economic revival post-lockdown.
