Trivendra Singh Rawat: Kedarnath to Open for Local Pilgrims from May 4

 
  • Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the state govt has decided that all districts under the green zone will be completely opened up from May 4.
  • He also said that the people from Uttarakhand will be able to visit the Kedarnath shrine from May 4.
  • He further mentioned that the 10 districts of Uttarakhand are in the green zone, two in orange and one in the red zone.
  • Trivendra Singh Rawat said that he will try to extend the winter season tourism from 3-4 months to 12 months.
  • CM also said that the state government has received applications from nearly 87,000 people who want to return to their homes in Uttarakhand.
