Trivendra Singh Rawat: Kedarnath to Open for Local Pilgrims from May 4
Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the state govt has decided that all districts under the green zone will be completely opened up from May 4.
He also said that the people from Uttarakhand will be able to visit the Kedarnath shrine from May 4.
He further mentioned that the 10 districts of Uttarakhand are in the green zone, two in orange and one in the red zone.
Trivendra Singh Rawat said that he will try to extend the winter season tourism from 3-4 months to 12 months.
CM also said that the state government has received applications from nearly 87,000 people who want to return to their homes in Uttarakhand.
