Congress Slams Centre Of Not Releasing Funds To Help States Move Migrants

  • Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi has tried to remind the Modi government of the aground migrant labourers.
  • Singhvi said, “Its International Labour Day today but looks like Centre has washed off its hands from the welfare of labourers.”
  • “The April 29 order regarding the movement of migrants by Home Ministry is arbitrary and ’Tughlaqi’”, said Sinjghvi.
  • Let us tell you, the Union govt has issued a new guideline, allowing states to transport stranded students, migrant labourers, tourists, and pilgrims to their home states.
  • He also blamed the Centre for not releasing any funds to help the states move these migrant labourers.
