He Endured His Illness With Dignity and Grace: Mamata Banerjee on Rishi Kapoor's Death
Bollywood legend Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67 after battling leukemia for 2 years.
Paying condolence to his family West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee tweeted, "deeply shocked & saddened at the demise of the iconic & versatile film actor Rishi Kapoor."
"A National Film Award winner, he acted in more than 150 films," she said.
Banerjee further tweeted, "He endured his illness with dignity and grace. My condolences to his family, friends, fans & the entire film fraternity."
Let us tell you that Rishi Kapoor was suffering from cancer and was admitted to Mumbai's H N Reliance hospital on Wednesday night.
