Number of COVID-19 Hotspots in India Decreases from 170 to 129
On Wednesday the number of COVID-19 hotspots in India has decreased to 129 as compared to 170 a fortnight ago.
While the number of gree zones or coronavirus free districts also decreased from 325 to 307.
Sources say that the number of non-hotspot districts, also known as orange zones, increased from 207 to 297.
While on Tuesday, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that 80 districts in the country have not reported new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days.
The MoHFW also informed that India's recovery rate has also improved with a total of 6,869 people being cured of COVID-19 taking the recovery rate to 23.3%.
