TMC blames Central team for spreading political virus

Attacking the two inter-ministerial central teams (IMCT) the ruling Trinamool Congress termed it as "India's Most Callous Team."
The central teams have been visiting hospitals and quarantine centres and meeting officials in Kolkata and Siliguri to access the COVID-19 situation.
The members of TMC stated that IMCT has sought to spread the political virus "shamelessly".
Whereas, senior bureaucrat Apurba Chandra who is leading the team wrote a letter to chief secretary Rajiva Sinha regarding state's non-cooperation over providing logistical support and other relevant information.
However, the central team praised the government's efforts in maintaining strict enforcement of lockdown in the Salkia (Howrah) containment zone.
