West Bengal Slams ICMR-NICED For Providing Them With Defective Kits
- The TMC has accused the ICMR-NICED of providing it with defective COVID-19 test kits.
- “The defective test kits supplied by ICMR-NICED, Kolkata, are resulting in a high number of repeat / confirmatory tests", said state health department.
- It said that the kits are causing delays and other attendant problems at a time to fight the pandemic.
- Over the past weeks, the state had been testing around 200 people a day.
- Let us tell you, West Bengal has recorded 310 cases and 12 fatalities so far.
