COVID 19: West Bengal To Begin With Pool Testing
- West Bengal govt will start pool testing of samples to detect asymptomatic carriers of the COVID 19.
- Pool testing will reinforce Bengal's testing record, which has been blamed for its low number of COVID 19 tests.
- Let us tell you, only 4,212 samples were tested in Bengal till April 17.
- Till now, Bengal has recorded only 287 coronavirus cases and 12 casualties.
- Also, the pool testing method will reduce the number of test kits used, compared to testing individual samples.
