COVID 19: West Bengal Govt To Include Asymptomatic People While Testing
- Mamata Banerjee govt has decided to expand testing which includes asymptomatic people.
- This step has been taken amid allegations that WB govt is not conducting any tests to detect COVID 19 patients.
- The step is a part of the state govt’s 11-point containment and treatment strategy for high-risk spots.
- Earlier, only symptomatic patients were to be tested under the strategy, which was amended, but now it will include even asymptomatic people.
- Let us tell you, the state has also placed requisition for 50,000 rapid antibody testing kits.
