Coronavirus: Bengal CM Makes Wearing Mask Compulsory for People Visiting Public Places

  • A senior official informed that Mamata govt made wearing masks mandatory for people visiting public places.
  • An order issued read, "Mouth and nose should be covered by facial masks or any other available piece of cloth or any material that acts as a protective cover." 
  • "It is hereby directed that it shall be mandatory to use this cover always, especially when in public places," the order further read.
  • Earlier MHA warned the Mamata government for not taking the lockdown seriously.
  • West Bengal has witnessed 95 cases of Coronavirus including 7 deaths.
