Coronavirus: Bihar Govt Get Tough, Will Hold DM and SP Accountable for Violation

  • The government took a strict stand on the lockdown to prevent the growing threat of the Coronavirus and sealed all the borders.
  • Expressing displeasure over the laxity, the central govt asked the states to implement them strictly, DM and SP will be accountable for violations.
  • In the meeting, it was said that for migrants returning from other states, make temporary arrangements to eat and live on the border itself.
  • All the migrant laborers should be kept in quarantine for 14 days and the salary of those working in companies and factories should not be deducted.
  • Many District Magistrates have asked the landlords not to ask the workers and students for rent for a month, action will be taken on the demand.
