Coronavirus: RaGa Praises PM Modi, Says Relief Package is 1st Step in Right Direction

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi praised Modi govt's efforts to soften the impact of coronavirus.
Gandhi tweeted, "The government announcement today of a financial assistance package, is the first step in the right direction."
"India owes a debt to its farmers, daily wage earners, laborers, women and the elderly who are bearing the brunt of the ongoing lockdown," he tweeted.
This tweet comes after his mother Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to PM Modi pledging full support to the govt in the fight against the deadly virus.
Earlier in the day, FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced Rs 1.7 Lakh Crore relief package for urban and rural poor.
