West Bengal Seals Border With Bhutan Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
The West Bengal govt has sealed the state's border with Bhutan in the wake of a novel coronavirus outbreak.
According to an official, the WB police stopped the movement of goods and travelers from India to Bhutan on Friday evening.
He said that the move came after Bhutan issued a notification to the Alipurduar district administration informing it about a halt in tourist and business activities in the wake of coronavirus.
The Himalayan kingdom had earlier this month banned the entry of foreigners after an American tourist tested positive for the coronavirus.
Let us tell you, India has recorded two deaths due to coronavirus recently.
