School, Colleges and Cinema Halls to Remain Closed Due to Coronvirus Threat: Yediyurappa Govt
Amid the Coronavirus threat, Karnataka govt has followed the footsteps of Delhi Govt.
CM BS Yeddyurappa said, for the next one week all malls, theaters, clubs, pubs, exhibits, wedding venues will be closed and all the sports events are canceled.
Yeddyurappa has appealed to the people not to go outside if it is not necessary, all the schools and universities have also been closed.
So far, 6 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Karnataka, out of which a 75-year-old elderly person has died in Kalburgi district.
Earlier Delhi govt, UP govt and Haryana govt, have also decided to keep the schools and colleges of the state closed.
