School, Colleges and Cinema Halls to Remain Closed Due to Coronvirus Threat: Yediyurappa Govt

  • Amid the Coronavirus threat, Karnataka govt has followed the footsteps of Delhi Govt.
  • CM BS Yeddyurappa said, for the next one week all malls, theaters, clubs, pubs, exhibits, wedding venues will be closed and all the sports events are canceled.
  • Yeddyurappa has appealed to the people not to go outside if it is not necessary, all the schools and universities have also been closed.
  • So far, 6 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Karnataka, out of which a 75-year-old elderly person has died in Kalburgi district.
  • Earlier Delhi govt, UP govt and Haryana govt, have also decided to keep the schools and colleges of the state closed.
