Gujarat Budget: Announcement for each category, 387 crores for Statue of Unity

  • On Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Nitin Patel presented the budget of Gujarat's fiscal year 2020-21 in the Assembly.
  • This time the Gujarat government has presented a budget of Rs 2 lakh 17 thousand 287 crore, in which several announcements have been made.
  • The Gujarat government has announced to give 3,186 crore to 48 lakh farmers under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for the welfare of farmers.
  • With this, the government said that 43 percent of start-ups in the Ease of Doing business are in Gujarat.
  • During the budget, the Government of Gujarat has made a provision of Rs 387 crore for the comprehensive development of the Statue of Unity.
