Central Acts To Be Soon Implemented In J&K: Union Cabinet

The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi has approved the issuance of an order for an adaptation of Central Acts in the UT of J&K.
The order has been issued under Section 96 of the J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019 by the Central Government.
As per section 96 of the J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019, the Centre has powers to make adaptations and modifications of the laws.
Let us tell you, the adaptation of Central Acts with modifications would ensure administrative effectiveness in the UT of J&K.
It will also remove ambiguity in the implementation of these laws in line with the Constitution of India.
