On Tuesday, a resolution was passed unanimously in the Bihar Legislative Assembly for not implementing NRC in the state.
Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav congratulated the people of Bihar. Whereas, Nitish said that there is no justification for implementing NRC.
Nitish Kumar said, "I do not even know when my mother was born, she has written a letter to the Center seeking exemption in NPR forms."
Tejashwi said, "today the govt had to kneel before the opposition, the hopes of the people from RJD were fulfilled today."
He further said, "now there should not be much talk on this matter, thanks to the people sitting on the dharna, now it will be a matter of providing employment."
