I Pray For the Quick Release Of J&K Former CMs: Rajnath Singh
- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that he is praying for the early release of three former CMs of J&K from their detention.
- He said that he is in the hope that they will contribute to normalizing the situation in Kashmir.
- Let us tell you, Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti were placed under preventive detention.
- This happened soon after the Modi govt reorganized and bifurcated J&K state into two UTs on August 5 last year.
- Though most of the politicians have been released since then, the three CMs and a dozen politicians remain detained.
