'Bharat Mata ki Jai' is being Misused: Former PM Manmohan Singh

Former PM Manmohan Singh said nationalism and slogan of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' are being misused.
He said these terms are being misused to build a 'militant and purely emotional' idea of India which excluded millions of residents and citizens.
He also said that if India is recognized as one of the world powers then its credit goes to our first PM Jawahar Lal Nehru.
Targetting BJPhe said a section of people who either do not have the patience to read history or would like to be deliberately guided by their prejudices, try their best to picture Nehru in a false light.
The former PM made these remarks 'at the book launch of Purushottam Agrawal and Radha Krishna's book Who is Bharat Mata.'
