Siddaramaiah Slams Karnataka Governor Of Spreading False Information

  • Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala defended the state govt's management of natural calamities.
  • In his address to the joint sitting of the legislature, he listed out the initiatives of the govt in attracting investments. 
  • The address highlighted that approval has been given to reservation of women in 25 % of posts in police recruitment. 
  • Leader of the Opposition, Siddaramaiah, in his reaction, slammed the govt by accusing it of conveying "false information" through the Governor's speech. 
  • "Adequate relief measures have still not been taken even after six months since the floods that took place", Siddaramaiah tweeted.
