Battle of Delhi: AAP to Clean Sweep or BJP to Claim the Victory?

  • The results of the Delhi assembly elections will be announced today, counting of votes will begin in all 70 assembly seats from early morning amidst tight security.
  • Most of the exit poll predicts the AAP is seen returning to power with an absolute majority for the third time in a row.
  • The Exit poll figures were rejected by BJP leaders, Manoj Tiwari said, BJP will form the government by winning 48 seats.
  • While the Congress will empty-handed according to exit polls, the AAP is directly facing BJP candidates in all seats.
  • In the 2013 elections, the AAP formed a govt with the Congress but resigned a few days later, in 2015, the AAP again formed the govt with a clear majority.
