Kerala Declares Coronavirus a State Calamity

On Monday, the Kerala govt declared a novel coronavirus epidemic as a "state calamity" after three people were tested positive for the infection in the state.
State Health Minister KK Shailaja said the govt will take all the necessary steps to ensure that the coronavirus outbreak is effectively controlled.
KK Shailaja said, "We have started tests in Alappuzha NIV. Now all districts are completely prepared to take contentment action."
"We are trying to access the list of people who have come from Wuhan in China. We will approach the emigration department," she further added.
Shailaja informed that people who are coming back from China are evading health dept which is a very dangerous situation.
