Police will decide: Supreme Court on Centre's plea to not allow R-Day tractor rally
The Supreme Court has today stated that the police have the right to decide on farmers' Republic Day tractor rally.
The top court said that it will not pass orders on the rally as it is irregular and improper to allow or disallow any rally, the police will decide it.
The court said this while hearing a plea from the Centre, asking to not allow farmers' to hold the tractor rally on January 26.
Letting you know, the farmer leaders will have a meeting regarding the routes and arrangements of the rally with the police officials.
The Joint Commission of Police, SS Yadav will coordinate the meeting in which Haryana and UP police officials will also be present.
