K. Chandrasekhar Rao: Centre’s Power Bill Harmful to States, Will Oppose It
- CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will meet like-minded chief ministers and heads of various regional parties over the proposed Electricity Amendment Bill, 2020.
- The Centre is planning to privatise the power sector by bringing in the new Electricity Bill, 2020.
- Telangana CM also plans to raise the issue once sessions begin in Loksabha.
- He further said that the centre has proposed to open new sub-licensing system which is nothing but privatising power sector.
- CM said that the private firms can obtain power from anywhere and sell it to any state.
