Telangana CM KCR Vows to Stop Andhra From Building New Irrigation Project

Telangana CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao condemned the decision of Andhra Pradesh government to construct irrigation scheme to lift Krishna river water from Srisailam Project.
He clarified that the AP government has declared a new scheme without even consulting with the Telangana state to lift water from Srisailam project unilateral.
He said that a legal fight would be initiated to stop it as it would seriously affect the Telangana State.
He also instructed to file a complaint against the Andhra government decision in the Krishna Water Management Board.
CM said that the Srisailam project is AP and Telangana state's combined project and water from these projects should be utilised by both the States.
