Asaduddin Owaisi: Imposing Lockdown is Unconstitutional

 
  • AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the government's strategy to combat coronavirus pandemic is unconstitutional.
  • He also said that it is a state subject and why the State Government is silent on this matter.
  • He further said that according to the National Disaster Management Act and the Epidemic Act the centre cannot impose lockdown in the whole country.
  • Asaduddin Owaisi said that the migrant labourers are suffering due to this lockdown.
  • He further questioned PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah whether the  UAPA charges are only for Muslims, Dalits, Adivasis or anybody who is against the government.
