Asaduddin Owaisi: Imposing Lockdown is Unconstitutional
- AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the government's strategy to combat coronavirus pandemic is unconstitutional.
- He also said that it is a state subject and why the State Government is silent on this matter.
- He further said that according to the National Disaster Management Act and the Epidemic Act the centre cannot impose lockdown in the whole country.
- Asaduddin Owaisi said that the migrant labourers are suffering due to this lockdown.
- He further questioned PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah whether the UAPA charges are only for Muslims, Dalits, Adivasis or anybody who is against the government.
