WB Governor Jagdeep Dhankar Invokes Article 167 On Mamata Govt

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has invoked Article 167 of the Constitution on Mamata govt's KMC board decision .
He has asked CM Mamata Banerjee to explain why he was not informed about the BoA, formed for running the KMC on the expiry of its term on May 7.
According to Article 167 of the Constitution, the chief minister has to furnish information to the Governor.
Earlier, he wrote in the letter to CS of Bengal, "The notification dated May 6 about Kolkata Municipal Corporation is yet to be made available."
"This notification is widely in circulation in media," the Governor stated in his letter.
