Coronavirus Outbreak: Mamata Banerjee said Communalisation Condemnable

  • Mamata Banerjee said on Wednesday that there is no need for worry over people who had infected coronavirus at the event.
  • She further said that there was no need for 'sensationalisation' of the Nizamuddin Markaz congregation.
  • She also said that there is no reason for wicked activities in the name of religion, and weaving communal elements into the narrative over this is condemnable.
  • Chief Secretary Rajiva Sinha also said that the government of India wrote on 13th of March that there is no epidemic of COVID-19 in the country.
  • CM also said that we have been quarantining them and they have been extending their cooperation to us.
