Shutting Down Govt Work, But Keeping Parliament Open: Shiv Sena Takes a Dig at PM
The Shiv Sena took a jibe at PM Modi's appeals to practicing social distancing in view of coronavirus outbreak.
Shiv Sena said, "Shutting down the govt work, but being adamant in keeping the Parliament session is certainly not aimed at keeping up the great democratic traditions."
It also advocated complete lock-down to tackle the coronavirus outbreak.
"Mumbai has to be completely shut and CM Uddhav Thackeray is taking steps in that direction," the party said.
It further added, "If our people stop spitting in public, then the cases of coronavirus will reduce by half."
