No Coronavirus In West Bengal: Mamata Banerjee

  • West Bengal has so far screened over 1.4 lakh people for coronavirus and no positive case has been reported from the state. 
  • The screened people include 1,541 foreigners.
  • Three persons were admitted to hospitals but none tested positive for coronavirus or Covid-19.
  • CM Mamata Banerjee said that the state will cooperate with the Government of India (GoI) and "act as a family" to tackle the crisis.
  • A team of five officers from Bengal has been sent to attend the meeting with the WHO team in New Delhi to work out the guidelines.
