Maharashtra Has Withdrawn 348 Out Of 649 Koregaon Cases: Deshmukh
State home minister Anil Deshmukh said that the MVA govt had withdrawn 348 cases out of a total of 649 filed in connection with the Koregaon Bhima violence.
He said that the other cases were in the process.
Deshmukh clarified that only those cases which involved attacks on the police and damage to property would not be withdrawn.
The govt has also promised to withdraw cases filed in connection with various protests such as the Maratha reservation agitation, and many more.
Deshmukh specified that the state has the right to conduct an inquiry if the investigation has been carried out in the wrong manner.
