Situation Gets Tense as Stone Pelted in Bramhapuri, CM Appeals to Maintain Peace

The violence that began on Sunday in connection with the CAA in Delhi continued on Tuesday and reached Bramhapuri in Maujpur-Babarpur, Jaffrabad.
Although Sec 144 has been implemented in the area its effect is not visible as on Tuesday morning, some miscreants started stone pelting in Maujpur-Bramhapuri.
CM Kejriwal tweeted, I am worried about the violence spreading in some areas, everyone should come together to maintain peace.
He urged people and said, "I am meeting with all the MLAs and senior officials of the affected areas to take stock of the situation."
DCP Amit Sharma, who was seriously injured on Monday, regained consciousness late in the night, 5 people have died in the violence so far.
